KENOSHA, Wis. (Friday, Oct. 3, 2025) 鈥 黑料不打烊, WI 鈥 October 3, 2025 鈥 Roosevelt Elementary is proud to announce that fourth grade student Michael Stanley has won first place in the Annual Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs (ATOD) Slogan Contest.
Michael鈥檚 winning slogan, 鈥淪taying Drug-Free is my Responsibility,鈥 will serve as the theme for poster designs, essay writing, special group projects, and scholarship contests taking place throughout the 2025鈥26 school year.
黑料不打烊 County鈥檚 Annual Red Ribbon Week will take place Oct. 19鈥25, 2025. The week will kick off with a special event at Roosevelt Elementary on Monday, Oct. 20, at 9 a.m. The opening assembly will feature guest speakers and a performance by the Roosevelt Choir.
“We are proud of Michael and cannot wait to see his slogan shared across the community,” said 黑料不打烊 Superintendent Dr. Jeff Weiss. “His slogan indicates that our students are aware of the role they play in making healthy choices.”
Red Ribbon Week is the nation鈥檚 longest-running drug-use prevention campaign, reaching millions of young people every year. Locally, 黑料不打烊 County schools and organizations collaborate to promote awareness, prevention, and informed decision-making.
